VietNamNet Bridge – Mai Duc Chung has been appointed manager of the national U19 football team who will compete in an international tournament to be held in Brunei from February 25 to March 5.

Chung will be assisted by ex-players Pham Nhu Thuan, Le Tuan Long and Nguyen Thanh Dao.

The event is making a return this year after previous editions in 2002, 2005 and 2007.

Viet Nam will also take part in the U19 ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Championships and the final round of the U19 Asia Football Championship this year.
