Cisco, a global IT leader, today announced the appointment of Luong Thi Le Thuy as the new general director in Vietnam, responsible for Cisco® business and operations in the country.
Thuy has been with Cisco since 2006 and in this role, she is responsible for owning and executing business strategies for the Enterprise and Government businesses across Vietnam.
“We are moving from the information age to the digital age across every market and industry. As every company, city and country becomes digital, we’re committed to realise this vision for Vietnam with the support of the government.
“I’m confident that Thuy’s extensive experience across the customer and partner ecosystem in Vietnam will reinforce Cisco’s position as their trusted advisor,” said Saleh Haji Munshi, president, ASEAN at Cisco.
Thuy has a strong understanding of business verticals across Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, Financial Services, Education, Hospitality, SME and the Public Sector.
Prior to Cisco, Thuy was with Dimension Data, responsible for managing the multinational corporation (MNC) business segment for the company.

Thuy has a Master's Degree in Business Marketing Management from the University of Belgium, Solvay Business School, and attended the Leadership Excellence and Accelerated Development (LEAD) programme by Harvard Business Publishing/HBS and Cisco.
