VietNamNet Bridge – Within several seconds, a 60 kilo man was lifted off the ground by forefingers of four members of a special class held at the Youth Culture and Sports Palace in the northern port city of Hai Phong.

This radiesthesia class has been known for a long time as a place where members discover their special ability. It opens for everyone who wants to discover and use sources of energy from inside their body to strengthen their health and free their mind.

According to Dr. Du Quang Chau, Chair of the Radiesthesia Division of the Science-Technology and IT Application Alliance, radiesthesia is the paranormal or parapsychological ability to detect "radiation" within the human body. According to the theory, all human bodies give emit unique or characteristic "radiations" as do all other physical bodies or objects. Such radiations are often termed an "aura".

A practitioner of radiesthesia believes in his or her ability to detect the interplay of these radiations. Thus radiesthesia is cited as the explanation of such phenomena as dowsing by rods and pendulums in order to locate buried substances, diagnose illnesses, and the like.

After being instructed by the teacher, class members use their forefingers

to lift a man weighing 60 kilo off the ground.
