VietNamNet Bridge – Ha Noi-based classical singers Hong Vy and Tuan Anh will perform at a chamber music concert at the HCM City Conservatory on March 8 to celebrate Women’s Day.

“Amore Music – Tinh Yeu&Am Nhac” (Amore Music – Love&Music) will feature opera and chamber music compositions by renowned western musicians like Schubert, Gounod, Dvorak, de Curtis, and Lehar.

The duo will also sing songs composed by Vietnamese musicians like Do Nhuan, Phan Huynh Dieu, Hoang Viet, and Tran Manh Hung.

Interestingly, they will perform without microphones.

Local classical singers Tan Nhan and Pham Trang and pianist Thai Linh, winner of the 2007 Asian Symphonic Band Competition, will join them on stage.

Leading musician and producer Tran Manh Hung, who has directed concerts and live shows as well as produced albums for many famous singers, will be the music director for the show.

The concert will begin at 8pm at the conservatory, 112 Nguyen Du Street, District 1.

Tickets ranging from VND100,000 to 800,000 are available at the venue and Tea and Coffee Tree, 86 Nguyen Du Street, District 1.
