After 180 days of intense training in harsh conditions, 150 soldiers have qualified to join the first anti-terrorist force in Vietnam.
After a 180-day training course, the National Training Center for Terrorism Prevention under the Mobile Police Command (located in Quang Yen Town, Quang Ninh Province) has launched the first anti-terrorism force in Vietnam with 150 members.
Every day, young soldiers started training from 5 AM with physical exercises before performing martial arts exercises and knife attack techniques.
To ensure safety and enhance combat strength, anti-terrorism forces are equipped with a number of weapons such as daggers and short sticks to suppress and apprehend dangerous criminals.
They learned skills to camouflage themselves with leaves, grass, and mud so that they can hide in the jungle terrain.
The soldiers were also trained with other skills such as night marches carrying luggage of 25-30 kg with a distance of 20-25 km.
Deputy Director of the National Training Center for Terrorism Prevention, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Trong Quang said that the most important thing is to train soldiers with determination, courage and strong will.
The National Training Center on Terrorism Prevention was established in February 2022, responsible for organizing training and retraining on terrorism prevention and control.
As many as 150 soldiers were selected from the Mobile Police force to train to become an anti-terrorism force.
