VietNamNet Bridge – Nearly 90 dishes used by the Nguyen Dynasty, the last feudal dynasty in Vietnam, were introduced at the Ta Vu house inside the Hue royal citadel from April 28 to May 3.
The exhibition of “Hue court’s antiques through gastronomy” was held by the Museum of Hue Court Antiques.

A carved tea tray.

A timber-made cake box made in the 19th century. These items were made
by artisans of the Hue court’s enterprise or imported from famous producers in the world.

Bronze-made cake molds made in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Tobacco-pines and a tobacco tin.

A bowl used under the reign of King Thieu Tri.



Items used in the French rule period.

A silver-made betel-tray made in the 19th century.

A silver-made spittoon used in the reign of King Khai Dinh.

A bronze-made lime-pot.

A silver-made wine pot and cups used in the dynasty of King Minh Mang.


A wine set used in the dynasty of King Dong Khanh.
