CMC Corporation has appointed 17 leaders to guide the corporation through the 2025-2028 term:

Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh is appointed as Chairman/Executive Chairman of the Corporation; 
Mr. Ho Thanh Tung is appointed as President - CEO, CMC Corp; 
Mr. Le Thanh Son is appointed as EVP/COO, CMC Corp; 
Mr. Ngo Trong Hieu is appointed as EVP CMC Corp/CEO CMC Telecom;
Mr. Dang Ngoc Bao is appointed as EVP CMC Corp/CEO CMC Global; 
Mr. Pham Ngoc Bac is appointed as EVP CMC Corp/CEO CMC TS;
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung is appointed as EVP CMC Corp/President CMC University;

Speaking at the event, Nguyen Trung Chinh, Executive Chairman of CMC Corporation, said: “For the first time in our history, CMC’s leadership team unites seasoned expertise with the vibrant energy of a new generation, poised to shape a transformative future. This dynamic collective brings strategic foresight, relentless determination, and the ability to redefine what’s possible”, he added.

The addition of key leadership positions has increased the total number of members in CMC Corporation’s Executive Leadership Team to 17. This strategic move reflects CMC’s commitment to building a leadership powerhouse capable of navigating complex global challenges.

CMC’s 6,000-strong workforce, spanning Vietnam and international markets, has fueled this momentum with resilience and innovation. In the first quarter of fiscal year 2025, the corporation achieved remarkable results: estimated revenue of VND2,459 billion, a 23 percent year-on-year increase, and pre-tax profit of VND155 billion, up 41 percent.

The leadership appointments and restructuring coincide with CMC Corporation recent

approval by the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park (SHTP) Management Board to

develop the CMC Hyperscale Data Center Project, with a total investment exceeding

$250 million. 

Designed with an initial 30MW capacity, expandable to 120MW, the center integrates cutting-edge technologies like DWDM 800G, SD-WAN, XGS-PON, SASE, and renewable energy, embodying the future of green data infrastructure.

Prior to that, on June 1, 2025, CMC broke ground on the CMC Creative Space Hanoi (CCS Hanoi), a visionary project attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, government leaders, and strategic partners like Samsung Vietnam and Samsung SDS Vietnam. CCS Hanoi is set to become the “digital heartbeat” of CMC’s AI-X strategy, hosting 5,000 engineers and powering Vietnam’s open AI ecosystem.
