CMC Cyber Security receives VNISA Information Security Awards for 5 consecutive years

CMC Cyber Security (CMC Corporation) was granted the Information Security Awards 2019 by the Vietnam Information Security Association (VNISA) at the Vietnam Information Security Day 2019 held in Hanoi on November 29.

This is the fifth consecutive year that CMC Cyber Security has received the information security award from VNISA (since 2015).

This year, CMC Cyber Security has 3 award-winning products: CMC Malware Detection & Defense (CMDD) with the “High-quality Security Products 2019”, CMC CryptoShield software with the “Outstanding New Security Products 2019”, and "CMC SOC (Security Operation Center) with "Typical Information Security Services 2019".

All the award-winning products and services were developed by Vietnamese IT engineers of CMC Cyber Security.

The CMDD solution has been upgraded on the software platform of CISE (CMC Internet Security for Enterprises), which now integrates AI (artificial intelligence) to detect abnormalities, analyze and identify malware threats.

For ransomware, CMC CryptoShield software is resistant to all types of ransomware, most notably WannaCry, which was spread worldwide in 2017.

Launched and operated by the end of 2017, CMC NextGen SOC is able to monitor, detect and automatically respond to all information security incidents, with advanced technology such as AI, Machine Learning and Automation.

With the topic "Enhancing national network security in the digital age", Vietnam Information Security Day 2019 gathered many domestic and international speakers and security experts to discuss development on network security and solutions to improve Vietnam's information security capacity.

The highlight of the event was when the Government leaders together with the National Committee on E-Government and CEOs of large enterprises on information security pressed the button to launch the National Information Security Monitoring System for E-government.

This system was built in cooperation between National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) and the Vietnam Cyber Security Alliances including Viettel, VNPT, CMC, FPT, and BKAV.

CMC Corporation has been investing in information security area from 2008 with the establishment of CMC Cyber Security (formerly CMC Infosec).

With the mission of developing information security products and services for individual and corporate customers, 100 staffs of CMC Cyber Security, including more than 50 leading security and IT engineers with international qualifications and certifications such as PCI QSA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CEH ... had handled major information security incidents in Vietnam.

100% of CMC Cyber Security's products and solutions are developed by Vietnamese. CMC Cyber Security is currently the only Vietnamese member of Association Anti-Virus Asian Researchers (AVAR) and International Computer Security Alliance (ICSA), thus all products and services of CMC Cyber Security are strictly complied with the international standards of these prestigious organizations.
