CMC Corporation recorded revenue of more than VND 10.554 trillion in fiscal year 2025, covering the period from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026, surpassing the VND 10 trillion milestone for the first time in its 33-year history. Revenue increased by 17%, EBITDA rose by 18%, and profit before tax climbed 23%.
The figures were consolidated from the business performance of CMC’s member companies across the group and are viewed as an important milestone ahead of its 2026-2030 strategic phase.
At the company’s 33rd anniversary ceremony held at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel in Hanoi, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Executive Chairman Nguyen Trung Chinh said CMC is entering its “second renewal”, centered on AI-X - AI transformation.
“CMC today is the result of 33 years of effort, renewal, aspiration and solidarity of generations of CMC people,” Chinh said.

According to CMC’s leadership, the VND 10.5 trillion revenue milestone reflects not only financial scale but also the capabilities the group has accumulated over more than three decades. From a small Vietnamese technology company, CMC has grown into an organization with more than 6,000 employees, 10 member companies and operations spanning numerous international markets.
“Those are figures we can be proud of. But what makes me proudest is not only revenue, scale or the works we have built. What makes me proudest is CMC’s people,” Chinh said.
From digital transformation to AI-X
A major turning point in CMC’s development came in 2017, when the group launched its first renewal phase based on DX - digital transformation.
Nearly a decade later, that strategy has helped transform CMC from a traditional technology company into a provider of digital platforms, digital services and digital infrastructure.
According to Chinh, the first renewal was the right decision, but the pace of change is accelerating because of artificial intelligence. AI is reshaping how people work, how businesses operate and how societies evolve.
CMC’s AI-X journey did not begin in 2026. The strategy was officially launched in 2024.
On September 11, 2024 in Hanoi and later on September 18, 2024 in Tokyo, CMC became the first Vietnamese technology company to announce an AI Transformation Strategy under the message “Enable your AI-X”.
While digital transformation focuses on digitizing operations, CMC defines AI-X as a deeper transformation in which AI becomes a core capability that changes how businesses think, operate, innovate and create value.
“This is not simply a technology strategy. This is a transformation of the entire CMC,” Chinh emphasized.
To execute the strategy, CMC operates under a model built around five strategic business divisions: New Technology & Strategic Technology, Technology & Solutions, Global Business, Digital Infrastructure, and Education & Talent Development.
Strengthening financial and infrastructure foundations
Alongside its business performance, CMC also achieved a notable milestone in the capital market.
In March, the group received recognition from The Asset in the “Best New Bond” category for its inaugural bond issuance valued at VND 1.25 trillion.
The bond carries a 10-year maturity and a fixed interest rate of 5.5% per year. The proceeds are intended to support investment in digital infrastructure projects, including CMC Creative Space Hanoi.

The recognition highlights CMC’s ability not only to grow revenue and profit but also to strengthen its long-term financial capacity for large-scale investments.
In sectors such as data centers, AI infrastructure and cybersecurity, access to long-term capital is considered essential for building projects that meet international standards.
CMC Creative Space Hanoi, one of the group’s flagship projects, has a total investment value of USD 300 million. The complex is designed as an integrated ecosystem combining data centers, research and development facilities, human resource training and innovation spaces.
The project is expected to play a central role in supporting CMC’s AI-X strategy.
Building the foundations of an AI-X enterprise
Over the next five years, CMC plans to continue investing aggressively in science and technology, innovation and digital infrastructure complexes.
These projects are expected to provide the foundation for AI-X capabilities across data infrastructure, computing resources, cybersecurity and AI research and development.

According to CMC, if data centers represent the physical infrastructure of the AI era, then C-OpenAI and the company’s core AI products represent its knowledge infrastructure.
The combination of financial strength, digital infrastructure and self-reliant technology capabilities forms the basis of CMC’s ambition to become a global-scale AI-X enterprise.
CMC’s message for fiscal year 2026 is “Accelerate your AI-X”.
According to Chairman Chinh, acceleration is not simply about moving faster. It also means learning faster, renewing faster, innovating more boldly and creating greater value.
However, he stressed that speed must always be accompanied by discipline.
“A strong organization is not built by a few outstanding individuals. A strong organization is thousands of people acting together with the same goal and the same spirit,” Chinh said.
During the AI-X phase, CMC will continue emphasizing its 4C corporate culture, particularly commitment, discipline and customer-centricity.
According to Chinh, all technology must ultimately create tangible value for customers because “when customers succeed, CMC succeeds.”
“Thirty-three years is a long enough journey to be proud of. But it is only the beginning of a greater journey ahead,” Chinh said.
