At Asia Pacific’s leading telecommunications conference, BATIC 2025, CMC Telecom officially signed strategic Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with two of the world’s foremost telecommunications service providers: Telin (Indonesia) and Airtel (India).
This milestone marks a pivotal step in CMC Corporation’s Go Global strategy, reaffirming CMC Telecom’s pioneering role in driving comprehensive strategic cooperation between Vietnam and its regional partners, particularly Indonesia and India.

BATIC: Asia-Pacific’s premier telecom and tech forum
BATIC (Bali Annual Telkom International Conference), held annually in Indonesia, is one of the most prestigious ICT events in the Asia-Pacific region. The 2025 edition gathered nearly 2,000 senior leaders from global technology powerhouses including AWS, Microsoft, NTT, Verizon, Telkom Indonesia, Bytedance, Zenlayer, Equinix, Digital Realty, Nokia, KT, Tencent, China Mobile, China Telecom, and China Unicom.
Marking its 10th anniversary, BATIC 2025 carried the theme “Igniting Tomorrow’s Digital Evolution – Change the way you connect, Power the digital shift.” The conference spotlighted AI, next-gen network infrastructure, global connectivity, data centers, and energy-efficient technologies - key pillars of digital transformation for hyperscalers, cloud providers, and AI enterprises.

Accelerating the Go Global strategy
CMC Telecom is already a trusted partner of leading ICT companies across the U.S., Europe, Japan, and South Korea. The strategic agreements with Telin and Airtel, signed during BATIC 2025, further enhance the company’s global connectivity infrastructure, expand its reach across Southeast Asia and India, and affirm its mission to support multinational enterprises in digital transformation and cross-border ICT development.
Mr. Dang Tung Son, Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of CMC Corporation; Deputy CEO and CMO of CMC Telecom, stated: "Through BATIC 2025, CMC Telecom aims to expand international partnerships in connectivity, hyperscale data centers, and cybersecurity - empowering global enterprises to grow rapidly, securely, and sustainably. These strategic partnerships with Telin and Airtel mark a significant milestone in the Go Global journey of CMC Corporation and CMC Telecom."

Strengthening Vietnam–Indonesia connectivity with Telin
In March 2025, Vietnam and Indonesia celebrated the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations and elevated their partnership to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The MoU between CMC Telecom and Telin reflects the alignment of both governments in deepening cooperation in technology, telecommunications, and digital transformation.
Telin is the international arm of Telkom Indonesia - the largest telecom group in Indonesia and one of Southeast Asia’s industry leaders. The collaboration with CMC Telecom is aimed at supporting businesses in both countries in their digital journeys, market expansion, and cross-border investment.
Through this partnership, Telin and CMC Telecom will jointly develop telecom infrastructure and digital services for global enterprises operating in Vietnam and Indonesia. The agreement also aims to strengthen economic and technological ties, expand high-quality digital services, and deliver outstanding customer experiences across the Southeast Asian region.

Expanding into the Indian market with Airtel
Bharti Airtel, one of the top three mobile network operators globally, serves over 500 million users across 17 countries and is recognized as a global ICT leader. Its partnership with CMC Telecom aligns with the Vietnam-India Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and the "Five More" cooperation framework set by leaders of both countries in August 2024. This framework highlights collaboration in the digital economy, innovation, cloud, AI, and ICT infrastructure.
Through this alliance, CMC Telecom will work with Airtel to meet growing demand from international enterprises expanding into Vietnam and Asia, while also reinforcing its presence in India - a critical growth market in the digital age.
The strategic partnerships signed at BATIC 2025 highlight CMC Telecom’s capability to expand global digital infrastructure and solidify its role as a Comprehensive Service Provider and Global Digital Solutions Partner. These efforts aim to drive digital transformation and enable sustainable growth throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
Mr. Dang Tung Son said: "International partnerships are key to empowering Vietnamese enterprises in their global expansion and helping multinational corporations thrive in the digital era. CMC Telecom is committed to expanding infrastructure, enhancing service quality, and promoting sustainable digital transformation in cooperation with global partners."
