VietNamNet Bridge – In the fourth lunar month, which begins next week, Co Tu ethnic minority in Dong Giang District, Quang Nam Province will start their Tatrai festival.

The festival features a number of traditional activities of Co Tu people, including offering live buffalos to God and their ancestors, dancing, and enjoying traditional food and drinks such as ruou can (wine stored in a big jar and drunk by using a long pipe), sticky rice wine, dried meat, com lam (rice cooked in bamboo tubes), and wild vegetables.
It is held to pray for good weather, bumper crops and prosperity for the villagers.
