Speaking about the latest match, Coach Cristiano Roland said: “This was a difficult game. I’m satisfied with the result we achieved. In key moments when a breakthrough was needed, the team showed their character and proved themselves to be the stronger side.”

“I’m truly pleased with the current form of U17 Vietnam. The players fought bravely despite having to play multiple matches within a tight schedule. They deserve to be congratulated.”

Roland emphasized that tactics are a matter of situational choice, but what pleases him most is how the players are understanding and implementing the coaching staff’s philosophy.

“There is no perfect formation. Each coach has their own philosophy, and I’m happy to see that the players are beginning to grasp that. They’ve executed every instruction I gave them well. What I want is for U17 Vietnam to continue working hard every day to reach their best form,” the head coach added.

Reflecting on the 2-0 final scoreline, Roland noted: “For us, the work continues. We will study our next opponent and make necessary adjustments to keep improving. After each match, the players learn new lessons and become more mature. That is what truly matters.”
