VietNamNet Bridge – The Viet Nam Football Federation has decided to suspend coach Van Si Son of Ha Noi FC for four matches at the upcoming V League 1 for kowtowing to referee Vo Minh Tri.

Along with the suspension, Son was fined VND10 million (US$434).

Son kneeled in front of Tri in apparent protest at a decision he made during the National Super Cup match between Ha Noi FC and Quang Ninh Coal on December 29.

Strikers Diego Fagan and Errol Stevens of Hai Phong also kowtowed to Tri in the match between Hai Phong and Quang Ninh Coal in the 18th round of the national premier league.
