On September 25, officials of the Ministry of Public Security and the Hanoi Party Committee presided over a ceremony to announce the decision to appoint Colonel Chung as the Director of the Hanoi Police Agency and the decision approving Chung to hold the position of Party Secretary of the Hanoi Police Agency.
Authorized by the Ministry of Public Security, Major General Tran Ba Thieu - General Director of the People’s Police Force Construction General Department, announced the decision of the Minister of Public Security to appoint Colonel Nguyen Duc Chung – the acting director of the Hanoi Police Agency, as the official Director.
Ms. Ngo Thi Thanh Hang, member of the Hanoi Party Standing Committee, Chief of the Hanoi Party Organization Committee, announced the decision of the Hanoi Party Standing Committee to approve Colonel Nguyen Duc Chung – a member of the Hanoi Party Standing Committee, Director the Hanoi Police Agency - as the Party Secretary of the Hanoi Police Agency in 2010-2015.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Duc Chung promised to try his best to complete his assigned missions.
Chung used to be deputy director of the Hanoi Police Agency, chief investigator of Hanoi investigating police department and a member of the National Assembly’s Justice Committee.
Chung, who graduated from the People’s Police University, is a master degree holder of law, a bachelor of business management, and a high-ranking investigator.
