The unique running event, ‘Colour Me Run’, was organised for the first time in Hanoi on September 26 at Vinhomes Riverside Eco-Urban Area, Long Bien district, attracting more than 7,000 people.
Participants had the opportunity to enjoy the colourful run, followed by impressive musical entertainment from famous international artist Timomatic, LAVA Band and Vietnam’s up and coming singer, Min.
Themed ‘We will be united’, the event aimed to create a new fun fitness trend, serving as a place to share fun moments with family and friends. The main objectives were to inspire and promote a healthy, active lifestyle for young people in Vietnam while contributing to building a more vibrant city.
The ‘Colour Me Run’ was inspired by the Holi Festival from India and has become an annual event in numerous countries worldwide.
Colour Me Run is not about the speed that you run but about having fun, and sharing happy moments with your friends and family.
Earlier, the same event took place in Ho Chi Minh City in April and Da Nang in June, attracting a large number of international visitors and local people.
The organising board expects the ‘Colour Me Run’ will be held in Vietnam every year following the previous success of the event in other cities.
