VietNamNet Bridge – The Draft Law on Public Investment and Public Spending will not be up for discussion at the fourth session of the 13th National Assembly, scheduled to begin later this month.

This follows a decision by Assembly's Standing Committee yesterday, Oct 9.

The Government said the bill will cover public investment and public spendings which have vast differences so they cannot be included in such a bill.

The government's report suggested public investment should be regulated in a bill on Public Investment while public spendings will be included in the amended Bidding Law.

Also yesterday, the committee discussed the submissions to the NA of the draft resolution on amendments and supplements to the 1992 Constitution and a draft Assembly resolution on collecting people's opinions on the amendments.
