VietNamNet Bridge – Going to Vietnam for the Hue Festival 2012 but the French jazz trio ‘Smooth’ will have a pop/rock/electron/soul show to serve a Hanoian audience at the French Cultural Centre L’Espace, 24 Trang Tien Street, Hanoi on April 5.  
The trio, includes David Darricarrère (singing, guitar, keyboard), Nicolas Berrivin (bass, keyboard) and Christophe Declercq (drum) and they follow electro funk.

The trio will play moody pop melodies in the electro and digital style. They are the combination of great melodies, percussion and digital sound.

The audience will experience a very strange feeling when listening to Smooth, it’s like seeing an old friend, a great companion because the songs they play are from daily imagination, from happy time or crazy time.

The trio has borrowed and rearranged the sound and rhythms from works of precedents to make outstanding works in a creative and attracting way.

The trio joined many festivals in Italy, Hungary, Belgium, Latin America and North America. Their music appeared in many French-language movies by director Luc Besson.

The trio has released three albums: "The Endless Rise of the Sun" (2006) and "An Electro Soul Experience" (2005) and “The Parade” (2010).

Before they go to Vietnam, “Smooth” performed in Indonesia from March 30 to April 3, at the invitation of the French Cultural Center in Indonesia. They introduced songs in their third album “The Parade”, which consists of 12 French and English songs.
