Pianist Nguyen Duc Anh, who earned a master’s degree at Freiburg Conservatory of Music in German, will hold a free piano concert at the HCM City Museum of Southern Women on December 27.

“Reminiscenza” will include masterpieces by Medtner, Brahms and Beethoven.

Anh, 26, has won top prizes at international competitions, such as the Alkan-Zimmerman International Piano Competition in Athens in 2014, and received a scholarship from the German government.

In October, Anh and pianists Duong Vu Minh, Luu Duc  Anh và Nguyen Phu Son, who have studied piano for years in Europe, established the Maestoso group to contribute to the development of classical music in Viet Nam.

The concert will begin at 8pm at 202 Vo Thi Sau Street in District 3. — VNS
