According to Du, the committee is examining letters of denunciation of Quang’s wrongdoings under the legal procedures.

“The case is related to the political life of an official who is managed by the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat. We will consider the case publically under the existing regulations. The conclusion will be made in December,” Du said.

Deputy Minister Quang, 58, has been accused by several companies and citizens of borrowing money, making false statement of his qualifications and bullying his inferiors.

Owing to mistakes in management activities, the official was given a warning by the Central Inspection Committee in late 2009.
