Cong Vinh will play for the Japanese team from 01/08/2013 to 24/11/2013. The last game that he will play for SLNA will be the game this weekend.

The first match of Cong Vinh in Japan will take place on August 4, 2013, on the stadium of Kataller Toyama FC. However, it is not sure whether the Vietnamese striker to be allowed to play in that game.

Consadole Sapporo’s representative spoke at the press conference that the FC had kept track of Cong Vinh for a long time and they highly appreciated Vinh’s performance. In the new team, Cong Vinh will likely be playing in the forward position instead of left midfielder since the Japanese team also needs a striker. Cong Vinh will wear the jersey No. 19 in this new team.

The Hanoi FC recently sold Cong Vinh to SLNA. To borrow Cong Vinh for four months, the Japanese team has to pay VND1 billion ($50,000) to SLNA. The team will have to pay monthly salary of $7,000 to Cong Vinh.

Cong Vinh said he was very hungry to play for the Japanese club to enhance his qualifications. The striker is now the top scorer at the V-League.

Vinh said his experience at the Portuguese FC of Leixoes would help him a lot in the process of integration in the Japanese FC.

In the contract, Cong Vinh is permitted to visit his family at the appropriate time and the travel expenses will be paid by the Japanese club.
