VietNamNet Bridge – At the meeting on July 14, the National Assembly Standing Committee will discuss the establishment of a committee to amend the Constitution 1992.


The 42nd session of the NA Standing Committee will open in the morning of July 13. According to agenda, the committee will consider the statement on the amendment of some articles of the Constitution 1992 and the establishment of a Constitution amendment committee.

Last week, in his closing speech of the 2nd conference of the Party Central Committee, Secretary General Nguyen Phu Trong said that amending the Constitution is the significant task that must be implemented strictly and scientifically under the Party’s leadership, with the participation of experts, scientists, managers and the people.

At the upcoming session, the NA Standing Committee will consider the government’s proposal on tax exemption, reduction and relax in 2011, discuss the preparation for the first session of the 13th NA, which will open in late July and the organization and personnel tasks of the specialized committees of the new-term National Assembly.
