VietNamNet Bridge – DJs Katty Q, Oxy and Mie will perform at the Countdown Party 2017 in celebration of New Year at the central city’s March 29th Square on Saturday (December 31st).

The event’s organising committee said the performance will draw the participation of young vocalists Phuong Vy, Diep Lam Anh, Bao Kun, Hoang Nhat Minh, rocker Pham Anh Khoa, the Unlimited band and Hoang Thong dance group.

The performance, which is directed by Viet Tu and composer Huy Tuan, will start from 9pm till midnight.

It’s the fifth consecutive year that the event has been held in the city.

The programme will be broadcast live on Viet Nam Television’s channel 8 (VTV8).

The organising committee said the performance will donate VND200 million (US$8,800) to the city’s fund for the poor.
