The suspension will start from 0:00 am on March 12 to 0:00 am on March 27.
The provincial Health Department reported that not any new case of SARS-CoV-2 infection had been recorded in Quang Ninh as of 12pm on March 11, apart from four infected foreigners who boarded Flight VN0054 with the 17th patient.
Over 1,200 people in the locality are being quarantined in concentrated areas.
Quang Ninh is checking the list of passengers on the flight and their travel history after discovering that the 31st and 33rd patients used to stay in the province.

Hanoi suspends events amid growing coronavirus fears
Hanoi will suspend many important programmes, meetings and seminars to focus on the fight against the acute respiratory disease caused by the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), the municipal Party Committee said on March 11.
The events include a symposium on the 90-year development of the city’s Party Organisation, a ceremony and an art performance celebrating the founding anniversary of the municipal Party Organisation, and a meeting of the city’s leaders in different periods.
A photo exhibition on the Party Organisation, a meeting marking the Party Organisation’s founding anniversary, and the inaugural ceremony of the municipal Party Committee’s headquarters will still be organised, but with a smaller scale.
Vietnam has recorded 35 COVID-19 infection cases so far, of them 16 were discharged from hospitals after their complete recovery, while the remainder are under treatment.
Hanoi police consider whole city quarantine for Covid-19 fight
Hanoi police considered security plans to quarantine more areas or even the whole city if Covid-19 becomes more complicated.
The information was given by Colonel Tran Ngoc Duong, deputy director of Hanoi Department of Police, at a meeting on Wednesday of Hanoi’s Covid-19 prevention and control steering board.

Currently, five Covid-19 patients in Hanoi are being treated at National Hospital for Tropical Diseases unit in Dong Anh District.
Meanwhile, 760 people who face high risk of contracting the virus from the four patients have been quarantined.
At the meeting, Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung said that to date, up to 15 Covid-19 cases in Vietnam were passengers on Vietnam Airlines’ flight VND0054 from London to Noi Bai International Airport.
According to Chung, all people who came into contact with the four Covid-19 patients in Hanoi and those who contacted with them will be tested. Hanoi will pay all Covid-19 tests for these people.
Chung also requested municipal officials to cancel overseas working and unnecessary conferences should be scrapped or scaled down.
