2023 is a special year as it marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with a number of countries, and cultural events have been held to celebrate the milestone.

Head of the International Cooperation Agency Nguyen Phuong Hoa affirmed that 2023 is an eventful year in terms of external relations, international cooperation and cultural diplomacy. However, investment in culture remain modest.
