By 2030 Vietnam will be listed as one of the top 30 countries for the International Telecommunication Union’s (ITU) Global Cybersecurity Index, targeted the national digital transformation program. 

After facing cyber attacks, many businesses tend to conceal the fact and do not share technical information on the incident, even though cyber assaults may carry lessons for other firms hoping to avoid similar problems.

As many as 739 cyber attacks were detected by the monitoring and warning system of the Vietnam Computer Emergency Rescue Team (VCERT) in May, the team reported on June 14.

Vietnam can become a cybersecurity powerhouse thanks to its world-class cybersecurity human resources and the dream to become a powerful nation, local media quoted Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung as saying.
