VietNamNet Bridge – If Saigonese are bored of old styles of weekend celebrations like enjoying coffee in differently-styled café, taking fabulous buffet programs in luxury restaurants, listening to music in cabarets, rushing to busy themed parks or even lazily sleeping all day at home to be free from the sunlight and engine smoke, Da Han Waterfall in Dong Nai Province is recommended as a new place for citizens to refresh themselves in a pure and green scenery.
A view of Da Han Waterfall in Dong Nai Province

Da Han Waterfall, about 70 kilometers from downtown HCMC, is located in Song Trau Commune, Trang Bom District in Dong Nai Province. Riding along National Highway 1A, it took us about two hours to get to the destination.
In normal days, the admission to the tourist site is VND15,000 per person; but going there in festive days, it costs VND20,000 for an entrance ticket. Entering the gate, we were amazed by a splendid waterfall streaming strongly like a silver carpet, leaving thousands white bubbles around. The fall is surrounded by a green orchard with huts here and there functioning as small eateries for tourists to enjoy local rustic but tasty specialties.
On the rock bank of the fall are many umbrellas and deckchairs for excursionists to relax and enjoy tropical fruits, bringing people a feeling as if they were on a beach. After tramping around the orchard and picking some fruits and taking some foods, we moved onto fishing with VND10,000 per fishing rod.
Finally, we went to swim to indulge ourselves in the cool water and let it give us perfect massages to rejuvenate ourselves after stressed days in urban life. When the last sun rays start glistening over the fall and making it colorful like a rainbow, we said goodbye to the site and came back to the city.
