Among the 25 outdoor and nature activities chosen on Tripadvisor for 2024, three tours in Vietnam were included: the boat and bike tour in Hoa Lu, Tam Coc, and Hang Mua in Ninh Binh (ranked 3rd), the Da Lat waterfall tour (ranked 12th), and the three-waterfall tour in Da Lat (ranked 19th). Topping the list are two adventure tours in Hawaii, USA.

Tripadvisor describes the Da Lat waterfall tour as a thrilling adventure where tourists rappel down stunning waterfalls, abseil from high cliffs, and hike through lush forests. Along the way, visitors learn about medicinal plants and local cuisine from friendly guides who ensure their success in the waterfall adventure.

The three-waterfall tour in Da Lat takes visitors to Datanla Falls, Voi Falls, and Pongour Falls, while also exploring coffee and silk production en route. "If you love nature and want to experience majestic waterfalls, or if you are passionate about photography and seeking ideal spots, this tour is designed for you. Tourists will spend a day discovering Da Lat's most famous waterfalls, immersing themselves in the beauty and wonder of nature," Tripadvisor describes.

Each year, Tripadvisor awards favorite destinations, hotels, restaurants, and entertainment activities based on reviews and ratings collected over 12 months.

The "Best of the Best Things to do" category is divided into subcategories such as best experiences, attractions, amusement parks, cultural history, cuisine, family activities, water sports, and sustainable travel.

According to Tripadvisor, less than 1% of the 8 million listings on their platform receive the "Best of the Best" award in the Travelers’ Choice Awards, representing the highest level of excellence in the travel industry for the winning destinations.
