The website lists the central city third in the list, behind Bornholm of Demark and Ljubljana of Slovenia.
It noted that while both northern and southern Vietnam are right in the middle of their monsoon season, Da Nang remains dry and sunny throughout the month of August.
“Da Nang is famous for its beaches. Soft golden sands, clean crystal waters and lots of chances to enjoy watersports make the city one of Vietnam’s best beach destination,” says the website.
Skyscanner suggested that visitors should start at either the vast My Khe Beach or Non Nuoc Beach due to the calm waves which are perfect for swimming, or alternatively take a day to explore the area with its network of natural caves, Buddhist pagodas, and Hindu grottoes.
“It’s also a wonderful place to stop and watch the famous sunset,” it added.
Furthermore, it also recommended Hoi An Ancient Town which is situated around an hour away by car, or Hue Imperial Citadel which is home to the Nguyens, the last Vietnamese feudal dynasty.
