VietNamNet Bridge – Da Nang FC trounced Ninh Binh 3-1 to become the champion of V-League 2012 in Ninh Binh province on August 19.

The most important match of V-League 2012 took place at Thong Nhat Stadium in HCM City, between Saigon Xuan Thanh and Hanoi T&T. This was considered the final game of V-League, because the winner would become the V-League champion.

However, the 0-0 draw helped Da Nang win the championship title, after this team defeated Ninh Bin 3-1.

This is Da Nang’s third championship, in 1992, 2009 and 2012. This is a surprise but Da Nang FC deserves the title.

Hanoi T&T ranked second for the second consecutive time. Saigon Xuan Thanh came third.

Hanoi FC trounced Haiphong 5-0 to stay with V-League 2013. In this final game, Timothy scored two goals to become the top scorer of V-League 2012, with 17 goals.

Dong Thap FC will say goodbye to V-League 2013 to play in the First Division Tournament though it was the winner in the game against Thanh Hoa FC.
