VietNamNet Bridge – Central Da Nang’s police held a press conference on December 30 to announce investigation results of a murder involving foreign nationals.

On November 26, while Li Mu Zi, a Chinese national, was given a close shot on his belly while taking a scooter out of his accommodation on Nguyen Duy Hieu Street in Son Tra District. The victim was rushed to the hospital but failed to survive.
After investigating for a month, local police identified Feng Long Chun, a Chinese citizen, as the offender. Feng was moved to Da Nang from Ben Cau District, southern Tay Ninh Province on December 27.
The murder cause was business conflicts in selling sim cards for Chinese tourists visiting Vietnam. To revenge, Feng bought a short gun in Thailand and entered Vietnam through Cambodia. After committing the murder, he disposed of the weapon into Han River and fled to Ho Chi Minh City.
