VietNamNet Bridge – The first International Festival of Light 2015 will take place on the occasion of the country’s 70th National Day, September 2 in the largest city in central Vietnam.

The city has allowed Global 2000 Company (Malaysia) to organize the light festival (DILF 2015). The event will take place from 8-11pm from September 4-6, along the road of Bach Dang.

Global 2000 said the estimated funding for the event is about VND60 billion (nearly $3 million), mobilized from donors.

DLF 2015 will consist of performances of multimedia art, music events and light competitions. The 36-storey Novotel Hotel will be the main stage of the event.

The Festival of Light is expected to be a major tourism event in Da Nang this year.
