A wide range of cultural exchanges between Vietnam and the RoK will be held during the festival, including a photo exhibition on the two countries’ friendship, a workshop on Information and Communications Technology (ICT), and an education festival.
The highlight of the event will be a 60-booth fair to introduce relevant information of the two countries in the fields of education, culture, tourism, banking, commerce, and traditional food.
Visitors will also be able to take part in various folk games and cooking contests.
The Korea Cultural Exchange Agency (KCEA) will organise a taekwondo performance and a programme which will introduce Korean culture and arts in Da Nang.
In particular, the two countries’ artists will participate in the Vietnam-RoK cultural exchange programme over three nights.
The event was first organised by the Da Nang Department of Foreign Affairs in 2015. It was resumed in 2022 as part of activities marking the 30th anniversary of Vietnam-RoK diplomatic ties and has been held annually since then.
The festival has drawn the attention of a large number of locals and foreign tourists. In 2023 alone, it attracted around 25,000 Korean arrivals.
