The information was announced at a press conference for the Danang New Year Festival 2026, held by the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the afternoon of December 9.

According to the department, from early 2026 until the end of August, Da Nang will revamp its beach tourism landscape with a chain of check-in models installed across the city’s major beaches.

The New Year Festival 2026 will run for five days, from December 30, 2025 to January 3, 2026, featuring a wide array of cultural and entertainment activities.

The chain of check-in zones for the New Year (from December 20, 2025 to January 3, 2026) includes four themed spaces: A radiant Christmas with a 20-meter-tall Christmas tree, New Year melodies, Colors of Hoi An, and Golden hues of Da Nang.

A new highlight for this year’s celebration is the “Da Nang – Welcome 2026 Avenue”, a three-night event (December 30, 2025 – January 1, 2026) held along Bach Dang pedestrian street in Hai Chau Ward.

This avenue will be transformed into a “creative festival axis”, where sound, light, and art converge to create an exhilarating New Year atmosphere. It will offer open access for visitors to freely explore and immerse themselves in the experience.

The festival also features a night run event titled “Light up Han River – Run to the Future”, scheduled to take place from 10 PM to midnight on December 31, 2025.
