Pham Van Loc opened for PVF after 15 minutes as he latched onto a pass from Ha Duc Chinh. However, ten minutes later Truong Van Thai Quy was shocked as he headed into his own net to help Da Nang level the match.

Striker Phan Van Long beat PVF's goalkeeper Nguyen Thanh Tuan to put Da Nang ahead on the half hour mark then Long scored his second goal four minutes from the break to extend Da Nang's lead to 3-1.
