The second cable car system of Ba Na Hills previously won the Guinness record for the length of 5,042 m and the difference between the station of departure and the station of arrival of 1291 m.
The four Guinness records for the third cable-car system include: the world's longest cable route of 5,771.61 m; the widest difference between the station of departure and the station of arrival of up to 1,368.93 meters; the longest cable without any joint in the world with the length of 11,587 m; and the world's heaviest cable roll of 141.24 tons.

The third cable network will help shorten the journey from the ground to the mountain top to 17 minutes.

The system consists of 86 cabins, which can carry 10 persons each. The network can serve 1,500 passengers per hour, with the speed of 6 m/s, the total investment of 30 million euros.

The Ba Na Hills Resort is 25 kilometers from Da Nang’s center. In March 2009, when two cable routes were put into operation, the cable system of Ba Na Hills won Guinness records for the length of 5,042 m and difference between the stations of departure and arrival of 1,291 m.

The third cable system breaks the record made of the two previous cable networks.
