Mr. Lu Ngoc Cu has been dismissed from the Chairmanship of Dak
Lak Province, to become a member of the Steering Committee of
the Central Highlands.

On October 5, Deputy Chief of the Central Organizing Committee Tran Van Minh had a meeting with the Party Standing Committee of Dak Lak to announce the decision of the Secretariat on the case of Mr. Lu Ngoc Cu, Deputy Party Secretary and Chairman of Dak Lak province.
Accordingly, from October 5, Cu will withdraw from the Dak Lak Party Committee and resign from the Chairmanship to become a commissioner of the Steering Committee for the Central Highlands.
Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak, Mr. Y Dham Enuol, will temporarily assume the Chairmanship.
In March, the Central Inspection Committee gave a warning for Mr. Lu Ngoc Cu for his violations.
Cu permitted Loc Phat Co., Ltd. To make survey and set up a rubber plantation project in the watershed protection area; assigned the Urban and Environment Management Co., Ltd to invest in many projects, including the project to upgrade, expand Tran Quy Cap Street, Buon Ma Thuot City, using capital from the government bonds (from the reserve funds of the construction of the Central Highland General Hospital).
Cu decided to license and allowed to establish a charity fund to raise donations and funds from domestic and foreign institutions; decided to turn the Development Fund into an independent unit and appointed its director without reporting to the Provincial Party Committee.
Also, Cu borrowed capital from many banks in the province while his wife traded real estate. Cu did not fully report his wife’s actions to the party organization, violating the regulations on the things that party members are not allowed to do.
