In late 2022, the People's Committee of Dak Nong province issued Plan No. 653/KH-UBND to implement the One Commune One Product Program for the period 2021-2025 in Dak Nong province. This is a very important basis to promote the application of digital technology in OCOP product management and monitoring.
According to the plan, Dak Nong province aims to build a synchronous and effective OCOP product management and monitoring system by the end of 2023, applying digital technology in management and monitoring of OCOP products. Dak Nong also strives to bring 100% of its OCOP products to at least one e-commerce trading floor, online sales channels, and websites.
Along with that, many specific tasks are also set up, such as: completing digital infrastructure; building brands and geographical indications for the province's OCOP products; promoting connection between parties involved in the agricultural value chain (people, production/processing/supply businesses, banks, insurance, science and technology organizations, associations, management agencies...).
The digitization of data of OCOP products will be integrated with the implementation process - database management of all product records, OCOP evaluation and ranking information throughout the province. Through the software system, OCOP subjects will actively participate, perform operations and create a comprehensive database system.
