Dalat has entered its dry season and weather has got cooler, creating a natural condition for dark yellow wild sunflowers to bloom. The hilly resort city has a couple of beautiful paths lined with wild sunflower plants.

Some people say that Dalat is no longer romantic without wild sunflowers which have thin petals and grow well in cold weather.

The best time to see the flower is early morning when Dalat gets the first sunlight and dew is still found on leaves and petals. The afternoon between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. is also good to watch this flower. Travelers are advised to ride motorbikes to small roads and winding mountain passes to view such flowers.
