The central coastal city of Danang is striving to attract more tourists from Europe, especially overseas Vietnamese in Eastern European countries.

Bulgarian tourists take a pedicab ride in Danang City

This was announced after the Danang Department of Tourism cooperated with Qatar Airways to arrange a tour to Danang between March 1 and 6 for Bulgarian bloggers, influencers and photographers.

According to Stilyana Emilova Yonova, a representative of Qatar Airways in Bulgaria, the number of overseas Vietnamese people in the Eastern European region is high, and many want to visit Danang, besides HCMC and Hanoi.

In addition, Danang has recently become an ideal destination, offering delicious dishes, beautiful beaches and a comfortable lifestyle of local residents, Yonova stated.

Nguyen Son Thuy, director of Indochina Unique Tourist Co., Ltd, remarked that tourists from Europe tend to stay longer and spend more than other tourists.

In addition, they require high-quality tourism products and services, encouraging Danang’s tourism sector to improve its services, Nguyen Ngoc Anh, director of Omega Tours, noted, asking for State agencies’ support.

Danang, Thua Thien-Hue, Quang Nam promote tourism in Germany

Tourism agencies of Danang City and the Thua Thien-Hue and Quang Nam provinces will attend ITB Berlin, the world's leading travel trade show, taking place in Germany from March 6 to 10. They will jointly set up a booth at the event to introduce their tourism products.

During the show, the delegation of the three localities will also participate in seminars on tourism development trends and meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions tourism.
