Last year, it placed QuangBinh, another central province, on the 8th position among 52 best places in the world.

Danang was included in the list as the city’s long coastline is blessed with several stunning stretches of white sand. It is more enjoyable to take a sandwich sold along the beach after swimming.

Danang has more than 1 million population. Tourism sites and services have developed and attracted a lot of visitors, particularly since a new terminal of Danang International Airport was officially put into operation on December 15, 2011.

Top the New York Times’ list is Milan (Italy), followed by Cuba and Philadelphia (the US).

The listed destinations in Asia include Singapore (rank 6th), Sri Lanka (22nd), Seoul in the Republic of Korea (33rd) Shikoku Island in Japan (35th) and Chengdu and Shanghai Cities in China (44th and 46th, respectively).
