The Foreign Affairs Department of Danang City has recently received 150 cherry blossom trees (including 100 saplings and 50 branches) as gifts from the Japan Sakura Exchange Association.

100 saplings have been planted in Asia Park and 50 branches will be sent to the cherry blossom festival that promises to bring visitors a colorful space.

The event includes various Japanese traditional activities including tea ceremony

cosplay performance,  

Yosakoi dancing,  

Japanese culinary and Kimono fashion show.Japanese culinary and Kimono fashion show.

The Hanami festival is expected to be an annual event in Asia Park with the aim of sharing Japanese cultural values to local and foreign tourists in Danang, and enhancing mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples.

Located in the city centre and invested by Sun Group, Asian Park, with total investment cost of about VND4,000 billion, is a leading entertainment place in Vietnam.

The cultural park, covering 3ha, features nine distinctive Asian cultures of Japan, India, Cambodia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Republic of Korea, China, Nepal and Vietnam. It also consists of many new, adventurous and modern games to play.
