Entitled In the Moment, the concert will be a combination of Vietnamese traditional instrumental music and Western electronic music.

Anker, a significant musician and saxophonist in free-form, improvisation and experimental music in North Europe, Anker is returning to Viet Nam after the Ha Noi New Music Meeting in 2009.

In this collaboration project, Anker will present music based on absolute improvisation to celebrate and explore a wide diversity of sounds.

The concert, which is free, starts at 8pm at Cheo (Traditional Opera) Theatre, 15 Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, Ha Noi. On Sunday, Anker will have a talk on contemporary improvisation and its relation to audiences at Manzi Art Space, 14 Phan Huy Ich Street, Ha Noi.

This is a part of Dom Dom (Fire Fly) project, launched by musician Kim Ngoc last year to promote freedom of expression in music.
