At the closing ceremony of the 11th National Trade Union Congress in Hanoi on July 30, VGCL Vice President Nguyen Van Ngang announced composition of the 11th VGCL Executive Committee which includes 172 members, one President and five vice Presidents and a 24-member Presidium.

The congress also elected 15 members and a chairman to the 11th VGCL Inspection Committee.

In his speech, Tung said all executive committee members will formulate an action programme to effectively implement the 11th congress’ resolution based on democratic principles to protect workers and trade union members’ legitimate rights and interests.

VGCL Vice Chairman Mai Duc Chinh summarized opinions on targets set for the 2013-2018 period and presented a report on supplements and amendments to the Vietnam Trade Union’s regulations.
