The national team player of Tiến Đạt Shop Club came from behind to beat To Duc Hoang of Dung Cuu Sport – Eurowindow Club 8-11, 12-10, 11-8, 11-6, 11-6 in the final of the men’s professional category at the weekend in Hanoi.

It was his third gold medal in a row.

Nguyen Anh Tu (Hanoi) and Nguyen Trung Kien (Hà Nội T&T) shared third place.

In other finals, Tran Huy Bao (Petro Viet Nam) beat Nguyen Dang Hiep Hoa Chau Club in the men’s A class and Le Duc Long of bongbanviet.com beat Nguyen Minh Tien (Petro Viet Nam) in the men’s U45 pool. Hoa Chau 2 and Gentlemen 1992 secured titles of the men’s teams class A and B, respectively.

The Hà Nội Table Tennis Club Open is an annual tournament. This year, nearly 300 athletes competed in 12 categories for a total bonus of VND300 million (US$5,600).
