The Vietnamese Film Week: Cinema and Culture is jointly organized by YUME Art Project, the Literature faculty of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities HCMC, and DCINE, with the support of Giai Phong film studio.
The free film week aims to help the young audience understand the cultural aspects of cinema in particular and arts in general. It also creates a chance for Vietnamese films that won international film awards in the 2000s to be shown on the big screen.
The five films that will be screened include “Thoi xa vang” (November 26), “Me thao thoi vang bong” (November 27), “Mua len trau” (November 28), “Trang noi day gieng” (November 29), and “Long thanh cam gia ca” (November 30).
