VietNamNet Bridge – The Vietnam Computer Emergency Respond Team
VNCERT has voiced its concern about the relevant units’ weak capability
of responding to the large scale DDoS attacks.
C&C servers conducting DDoS attacks to online newspapers found
VietNamNet Bridge – Nguyen Minh Duc from BKAV has stated that BKAV
has found the origin of the command-and-control (C&C) servers which
conducted the DDoS attacks to online newspapers in early July.
Many online newspapers become DDoS victims
A series of Vietnamese online newspapers incurred
a lot of DDoS attacks in early July.
Internet security experts noted that the attacks are “violent,” “well
organized” and “purposeful.”
Global DDoS attacks have not hit Vietnam yet
VietNamNet Bridge – Bkav has not
recorded any attack to Vietnam from the historical DDoS (denial of
service) attacks that are happening in the world.
