VietNamNet Bridge – Three drug dealers got the death penalty and two others from the same ring were sentenced to life imprisonment after a two-day trial ended yesterday, July 4, in northern Bac Ninh Province.

Each defendant was also fined VND10 million (US$475).

According to the indictment, the dealers traded a total of 16 cakes of heroin, each weighing 430 grams, over a period of time.

The accused, aged between 22 and 52, are all relatives and were the founders of the ring.
