The official Miss Charm page recently confirmed that MC Quynh Nga will represent Vietnam in this year’s competition. This announcement has surprised many, sparking mixed reactions.

Several comments on social media have questioned Quynh Nga’s return to the competition, suggesting that there are other more deserving candidates. The news has stirred debates on beauty forums, especially since she previously withdrew from Miss Charm 2023.

Miss Charm was launched in 2019 but was postponed twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At that time, MC Quynh Nga was initially selected as Vietnam's representative. When the competition resumed at the end of 2022, she decided to withdraw after much deliberation. Quynh Nga shared that, despite her regrets, she hoped the audience would support the new representative.

After her withdrawal, MC Thanh Thanh Huyen was chosen to compete at Miss Charm 2023, where she secured a spot in the top 20. Quynh Nga took on the role of MC for the Miss Charm 2023 final night.

On February 24, 2023, Quynh Nga was introduced as the National Director at Miss Universe Vietnam. However, as of January 18, 2024, she no longer holds this position.

Born in 1995, Quynh Nga stands 1.68 meters tall and was a top 10 finalist at Miss World Vietnam 2019. She has earned multiple titles in other beauty competitions. Currently, she works at VTV24 News Center under Vietnam Television, handling cultural and international news. Quynh Nga is highly regarded for her beauty, communication skills, and English proficiency.

Miss Charm 2024 will be held in Vietnam from December 9 to 21. The current Miss Charm 2023 titleholder is Brazilian beauty, Luma Russo.
