VietNamNet Bridge – The Information Centre for Military Science under the Ministry of National Defence unveiled its English version of its web portal, found at www.bqp.vn and www.mod.gov.vn, and its e-paper www.baodientu.bqp.vn in Hanoi on December 19.

The portal will have the latest news on politics, defence and military affairs both at home and abroad.

It also houses a collection of audio, videos and materials about the ministry, the establishment and development of the Vietnamese people’s armies, militia and self-defence forces, education-training, military medicine, environmental protection, economy, national defence, culture and sports.

In the spotlight is the leadership and direction of defence and military duties of ministries, agencies and localities.

After a one-year pilot operation, the web portal has become a multimedia channel of the ministry and the Central Military Commission to raise public awareness of the Party’s policies and State law.

It covers a wide range of events involving national defence-security, socio-politics, defence relations, international and economic affairs, culture-sports, science-technology, world defence, weapons and equipment, and lifestyle among others.
