VietNamNet Bridge - General Vo Nguyen Giap is now under the care of doctors at the Military Hospital 108. As being reported by the hospital, the health of the general has remained stable.

On July 25, in a visit to General Vo Nguyen Giap, Minister of Defense Phung Quang Thanh expressed his gratitude for the enormous contribution of the General to the revolutionary cause of the nation and especially the Vietnam People's Army.

Minister Phung Quang Thanh said that General Vo Nguyen Giap is always an exemplary, excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh, the elder brother of the armed forces, who is respected by the people...    

He wished General Vo Nguyen Giap good health and longevity to continue to have many valuable contributions to the building of the Party, the nation and the military.

The Minister of Defense also reported to the General the operation of the army so far this year.

General Vo Nguyen Giap thanked the attention of officers and soldiers of the army as well as the sentiment and wishes of Minister Phung Quang Thanh.

According to the Board of Directors of the Military Hospital 108, General Vo Nguyen Giap’s health has been stable.
